Men's Fellowship

This Fellowship began in few different Local Churches informally. Gradually the Christian Education Department through the leadership of Rev. Samaila Kure saw the need to recognize the fellowship at the Headquarters level.  Kure presented the need for Men to be prayed for in the ECWA General Church Council.

In 1984 Kure brought the need for the Men Fellowship to be recognized in all structures of ECWA by way of organizing a seminar for them. The General Church Council approved the request and the seminar took place in July 28th – 30th, 1985 at ECWA Advance Bible School Zabolo, now Christian Training Institute. Every DCC Christian Education Organizer then was to attend the seminar with one Man representing his DCC. At the end of this seminar, the Men who attended the seminar resolved to form the leadership at the National Level

The goal of establishing the Men Fellowship was to provide fellowship among men, have them build the faith of their fellow men, guide them towards being active in the church, provide a forum where men can address their peculiarities, and guide them towards developing leadership skills. At the moment, ECWA Men Fellowship has grown internationally where ECWA exists. A good number of the members are supporting Missionaries as well as engaging in outreaches as well as planting new churches.
